This is a scribbling about how I unexpectedly formed a special relationship with a cat, and how I had to be separated from him for a while, before reuniting with him.

This scribbling is about the practice of walking and how I have transitioned from an instinctive walker to someone who now likes to reflect about this activity. It is a small cup of my personal and subjective brew of psychogeography.

This is a scribbling about how reuniting with some of my tea is a little bit of a voyage back in time…

Looking for enchantment
Being back in Switzerland, I have been looking for topics and, or places to explore. This scribbling is about how a place’s geography and history can possibly be a source of enchantment, if one decides to follow this path.

Almost since the beginning of this blog, I started the YouTube channel Dark Tea Flicks as a companion platform. While I enjoy the distance and control that writing gives me, there are some feelings and emotions that are better conveyed through video.
Less Talk More Tea is my podcast on the Dark Tea Flicks channel. There, I will record my varied tea sessions. While you will not find a polished high quality experience, you will find the direct experience of tea being enjoyed in all sorts of locations and settings.
As indicated by the name of the podcast, I will not loose time with commentaries and let the tea and the teaware speak for themselves instead. If, at times, further explanations is needed, there will sometimes be a companion scribbling on this blog.
Thank you tea
Things have been brutal, hard, and stressful for the last months. While tea never left my side, I also did not have the energy, nor the resources for a proper session.
Two days ago was a beautiful day, and I took my zisha clay teapot out to the nearest park. I had a little session on my own, which I documented in this video.
I immediately realised why tea means so much for me. The familiar gestures with some of my favourite teaware made me feel comfortable and somewhat at home in this universe. The familiar taste of my tea made me thoroughly enjoy this nice day.
Once more I understood why I dedicated so much of my life to the world of tea. At least this part was not a mistake…
